Hi everyone. I've made an important decision about craft and fiber shows. I am no longer going to do “away” shows. That is, shows far enough from home that I have to stay in a hotel. I will still do shows around home, Boston, and the surrounding area: Providence, Southern Maine and New Hampshire. The only criteria is to sleep in my bed at night.

 

I've been thinking about this for awhile. I've been doing shows for 32 years, and it's time to make a change. Way back then, there were few shows around Boston. Now there are local shows almost every weekend.

 

Also, I am teaching again, and loving it. It's a huge commitment, but easier on the body than a 10 hour drive followed by a 3 day show.

 

If you can't make it to one of my local shows, the Very Eclectic website is always open. I've neglected it over the summer, but am now updating it with all new items.

 

I'll miss seeing so many of you in person, but we can still stay in touch.
